This item was a giveaway to promote the Robert Stigwood Organisation and their product.The item was based on a first world war trench lighter and made in brass which was used by the troops. On the body of the lighter there is an outline engraving of a Japanese peace code which has been adopted by RSO as it’s symbol.
RSO was an entertainment company consisting of a film company which made the movie Grease and Saturday night Fever. It also had a record company which had the Bee Gees, Eric Clapton and a host of other acts. The theatre division made Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and many other stage shows.
